The Learning at Work Week 2023 Doodle Challenge Prize Draw

Terms and conditions

1. The Learning at Work Week Doodle Challenge Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”) is offered by Campaign for Learning, a division of NCFE (registered address: Q6, Quorum Park, Benton Lane, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 8BT) (“CfL”) and is open to residents of the UK aged 16 and over.
2. The Prize Draw is not open to employees or agencies of CfL, their respective group companies or family members, or anyone else connected to the Prize Draw.
3. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
4. To enter the Prize Draw you must do one of the following:

Email: [email protected] with a scan, image or photograph of the doodle you have done for the Daily Doodle Challenge.
Or:
Share your Daily Doodle on twitter and include @lawweekwire and #lawwdoodlechallenge  
You must include @lawweekwire and #lawwdoodlechallenge to be eligible.

Entries for the Prize Draw must be received by 12pm on Monday 22nd May 2023. Any entries received after that point will not be accepted.


5. Only one entry per Prize Draw per person is allowed. If you submit more than one doodle, we will take the first one received as your entry into the Prize Draw. Entries made on behalf of another person will not be accepted unless agreed with us in advance of submission. Joint submissions are not allowed. 
6. You are responsible for the costs (if any) of submitting your Prize Draw entry to us. Anyone using multiple accounts on twitter to enter will be ineligible. 
7. CfL accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by CfL.
8. The first five entries drawn from the Prize Draw will receive the prize detailed on the Learning at Work Week Doodle Challenge webpage. CfL accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with claiming the prize.
9. The winners will be selected by way of a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
10. The winners will be notified with details of how to claim their prize either by a) email (email submissions) or b) by twitter (twitter submissions). For twitter submissions, notification will be from CfL's @lawweekwire account and will either be by tweet tagging in the account of the entrant or by direct message, if available.  If a winner does not respond to CfL within 14 days of being so notified, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and CfL shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will in  turn have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and CfL shall be entitled to select another winner.
11. The surname and county of residence of the winners can be obtained after seven days by emailing CfL at [email protected] or sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Campaign for Learning, 24 Greencoat Place, London SW1P 1RD.
12. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for a cash equivalent sum.
13. CfL reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
14. The winners may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw and the winners shall participate in such activity on the Promoter’s reasonable request. The winner’s consent to the use by  CfL and its related companies, both before and after the closing date of the Prize Draw, of the winner’s name and the doodle they have submitted for the Daily Doodle Challenge for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by CfL and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, all entrants consent to the same.
15. CfL shall process any personal data you supply  in accordance with its privacy policy, (a copy of which is available at https://www.ncfe.org.uk/legal-information) and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal data in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry. CfL may make available the surname and county of residence of the winners as outlined in paragraph 11 above. If you do not wish your surname and/or county of residence to be made available for this purpose, then please notify us when you submit your entry.
16. CfL accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw and/ or accepting the prize. CfL further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s property relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of CfL under law for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.
17. CfL reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, (temporarily or permanently), this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of CfL in all matters relating to the Prize Draw is final and no additional correspondence will be entered into.
18. CfL shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Prize Draw where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
19. The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
